120V Shears
The 110 volt AcmeCatz shear is designed for processing where 110V power supply is convenient. The hydraulic unit is mounted on a two wheeled cart for easy transportation. Source of power is 110 volt single phase outlet. All models come standard with 23 feet of braided hydraulic hose. This will usually be enough to reach three process stations side-by-side. We can add additional hose to the unit for a small additional cost. Electric motor delivers 3000-3500 psi to the cutting head for superior cutting. Cutting head is controlled via a two button switch handle located below the head to facilitate a one man operation. Voltage to the switch handle is reduced to 24 VDC via a electronic module for operator safety.
12V Shears
The 12 volt AcmeCatz shear is designed for ease of use and mobility. The lightest of the three shears it can be loaded and unloaded by a single individual. The hydraulic unit is mounted on a 2 wheel cart for easy transportation. Powered via a 12 volt deep cycle battery the shear will cut approximately 100-150 cuts before a recharge. Most of our customers that purchase the 12 volt process 20-100 cars a week which makes this an excellent choice for a small recycling yard. The shear is shipped with 23 feet of braided hydraulic hose connected to the cutting head. Cutting head is controlled via a two button switch handle located below the head.
Gas Shears
The gas AmceCatz shear is designed as a self contained unit which doesn't require either source power or battery recharge. Powered by an 11HP electric start engine the gas shear can be taken throughout your yard to remove cats where it serves you best. Gas shear comes mounted on a two wheel cart for easy transportation. It comes standard with 23 feet of braided hydraulic hose attached to the cutting head. A two-button switch handle below the cutting head facilitates a one man operation for safety. The pressure is regulated and controlled via a pressure relief valve and manifold system attached to the cart. We ship with the battery and the electric start.
De-Canners
The AcmeCatz De-Canner is designed to take your converter processing to the next level. A 3X12X5 inch hydraulic cylinder is driven via a 10 horse power electric motor and a 3000 psi pump. The hardened steel blade slices though the converter with ease. This unit is shipped with a 220/440 three phase motor or a 220 single phase. We recommend the three phase when possible for lower amperage draw.
